PROGRAMME OUTLINE
OBJECTIVES
The program is intended to provide interdisciplinary education in international trade relationships to deal with the challenges of the globalised world economy with a specific focus on economic and legal aspects of the phenomenon.
Courses in Economics aim to provide knowledge as well as competences and skills to addresses the challenges companies face when deciding to expand abroad as well as managing operation across borders. In addition, the courses delivered in the economic field aim to address challenge and opportunities related to the globalization phenomenon from the perspective of governative and non-governative bodies.
Courses in Law intend to provide a throughout understanding of the main legal principles and rules concerning the international world trade system with particular reference to the EU Single Market and the rules of law governing international transactions as well as jurisdictions and methods of settling international disputes.

Career opportunities for IRC Graduates can be envisaged in leading consultancy firms, small and medium-size firms interested in the development of strategies concerning the localization and commercial expansion abroad of their economic activity as well as product/country managers and import-export divisions of larger firms. Graduates’ capabilities can be appreciated also by public institutions interested in developing economic policies with an international dimension as well as by non-governative bodies involved in the analysis of globalization trends
